John Gottberg Anderson / The Bulletin Cast in 1892, a 1,000-pound brass bell from Ballard’s former City Hall has been restored to public display within a specially designed monument. Rescued when the former municipal building was razed in 1965, it now strikes hourly from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. almost every day.
